Neputa Painting

At Irodori, you can make beautiful lanterns using beautiful hand-painted artwork from Kuroishi’s Neputa festival. Neputa is one of Kuroishi’s biggest summer festivals, featuring giant floats depicting intricate paintings of warriors and beauties. Pick and choose art pieces in different colors and patterns to make your own unique lantern.
